Verket utforskar naturbegreppet genom en berättelse om ”naturen” i Smedjebacken, med utgångspunkt i spår av händelser och företeelser som går utanför det planerade. I ett samarbete med Evelina Mohei, utförs en gemensam handling, ett byggande av en enkel konstruktion som hjälper oss att klättra upp och fysiskt nå upp till en plats som annars var svåråtkomlig. Skulpturen lämnas kvar på platsen som en tyst markör för ett försök, en passage mellan kropp och landskap, mellan då och nu, och påminner om den process som alltid tagit plats i naturen, den gemensamma närvaron och utforskandet av plats, hur vi söker kontakt och skapar mening i landskap tillsammans, med andra människor och med andra arter, i ett försök att förstå vår omgivning och oss själva.

The work explores the concept of nature through a story about the "nature" in Smedjebacken, based on signs of events and phenomenons that takes place outside of the planned. In collaboration with Evelina Mohei, a collective action is performed, the construction of a simple structure that helps us climb up and physically reach a place that was otherwise difficult to reach. The sculpture is left on site as a silent mark of an attempt, a passage between body and landscape, between then and now, and reminds us of the process that has always taken place in nature, the shared presence and exploration of place, how we seek contact and create meaning in landscapes together, with other people and with other species, in an attempt to understand our surroundings and ourselves.
